Spring is in the Air

We have finally been able to enjoy some warmer temperatures and started our Spring clean-up outside. Lorelei asks to go outside as soon as she wakes up in the morning. Only a few more weeks until I will happily head right outside with her, iced coffee in-hand!

These are a few pictures of Lorelei re-discovering the backyard after our brutal winter, and some shots of her helping me plant our first few seeds in the garden over the weekend. Pretty crazy how quickly the grass has greened up!

We've been having some serious "2 year old" moments around here lately. The other night, Lorelei insisted all she wanted for dinner was a lemon. I was pretty worn down from some earlier power struggles, so we decided not to fight that battle and indulged her. Something tells me she won't be asking for a lemon for dinner any time soon! (And we did give her real dinner after she decided the lemon wasn't really what she had in mind afterall).

Love her face: "Wait. You're really letting me have a lemon for dinner?" 

"No thanks!"

We Have a 2 Year Old!

So crazy that Lorelei is already two! Our lives have been so blessed by this little girl! Truly, we can't believe how quickly the years have passed already! Here are some photos of her special day:
